Opening an independent bookstore has been a longtime dream of mine. Books have always been my teachers, my escape, and my constant companions—and that love eventually led me to write books of my own and to create Bookbound, a platform to support other writers.

Through every chapter of my career, the idea of opening an independent bookstore stayed with me. Today, Bedford Books lives in a cozy red barn just around the corner from the Village Green, and it has become a gathering place for our community—a space for discovery, conversation, and connection.
